The Covey side:

Jonathan comes from a large Christian family that is very active in their Church and in their community. They are a joy-filled, lively, fast paced family – who loves to have fun. They live on 11 acres with large trees, playscapes, and tire swings. They live about 4.5 hours from us – we love going to visit them every couple months. We love our Covey family!

Family Traditions and Favorites:

Fireworks on 4th of July, Aunt Gay's Queso & Subway sandwiches on Christmas, volleyball, trying to say "Christmas gift!" to everyone before they do it to you, and singing in the kitchen :)

The Walden side:

Sarah’s family lives 20 minutes from us. We go to the same Church (where Sarah’s dad is one of the Pastors.) We are a tight family unit and love doing everything together. Some of our favorite games are Spike ball, Catan, nerf gun fights. We love serving, traveling, and working together. We have our Sunday evening tradition of dinner and board games. They are hilarious, goofy, generous, and caring people. Loads of fun.

Family Traditions and Favorites:

Spike ball game with extended family on holidays, Christmas candy making, making each other "dance" before unlocking the car, singing hymns at nursing homes, and board game nights :)
